• License Number
• Compact Status (Single State, Multistate, N/A; Not Applicable for Non-Compact States)
• If License is Active
• License Original Issue Date
• License Expiration Date
• Discipline Against License
• Discipline Against Privilege to Practice
• Discipline Board Order if Provided by the Jurisdiction

The Nursys Emergency Responder service allows approved emergency response organizations the ability to look up nurse licenses in bulk free of charge through Nursys during a declared emergency event. Please click here to access this service.

All participating boards of nursing provide their data in Nursys for lookup by employers and the general public via Licensure QuickConfirm; however, they have the option of not participating in the online Nurse License Verification for endorsement to another state. If your board of nursing is not listed in the Nursys® participating board of nursing under Nurse License Verification, please contact your board of nursing to request license verification.

Licensure QuickConfirm allows the public to quickly see the status of a license and any associated discipline information it may have. Nurse License Verification is the official process of requesting a license verification to be sent to the state board of nursing for the purpose of getting a new license in that state. Board of Nursing receives a detailed official license verification report.
